Version 2.0 – Major Update

Version 2.0 was released in December 2024.

Content Updates
- Update intentions to accurately reflect my goals for this project
  - Remove anti-apologetic themes from language throughout content
  - Emphasize a reader’s responsibility for self-determination
- Re-order major sections to improve readability and retention
  - Swap Doctrine with Culture to avoid boring readers halfway through
  - Add Options section to explore a few of the options people have during and after a faith crisis
  - Add sections to the introduction to clarify intentions, focus on well-being, and encourage critical thought Add Thank You to end on a better note
  - Expand My Story into better subsections, splitting the story by major spiritual life events; reflect on a year after the church
  - Condense Culture to critically describe what I feel are the most significant cultural issues in the church
  - Condense Doctrine to reduce redundancy and describe what I feel are the most problematic parts of church doctrine
- Add FAQ page to describe some of my changes
Website Updates
- Change website theme (adapted from Relearn for Hugo) to improve navigability
- Improve content organization on the server side to improve SEO and URL readability

- Major revision of PDF copy
- Improved SEO throughout site
